Description
Flint Hills Pints offers premium homemade ice cream with Kansas ingredients. FHP uses 1/2 and 1/2 and heavy whipping cream from Hiland Dairy which supports 90% of Kansas small dairies and is processed in Wichita, Kansas. Eggs come from our farm and other local farms. Honey is provided by Shoney Honey and AJ's Honey and then Smokehouse 7 does a cold smoke on the honey. FHP purchases fruit locally when in season.
FHP uses NO artificial stabilizers such at locust bean gum, tara bean gum and xanthan gum. FHP also uses NO high fructrose corn syrup or corn syrup in the making of our ice cream base. FHP also uses no dyes or food coloring in our flavors. However flavors which has candies, cookies and pop is mainstream and FHP has NO control over what is in those products, but we can control what goes into the making of our ice cream base.
